We are seeking a reliable and professional Bengali Interpreter for an active, community-based assignment in and around the Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey area. This is a freelance (independent contractor) opportunity ideal for individuals who are fluent in Bengali and English and enjoy supporting diverse communities.
Provide accurate, in-person Bengali interpretation for an active assignment in community settings, such as social services or local appointments.
Facilitate clear communication between Bengali-speaking clients and English-speaking providers.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics standards.
Arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled assignments.
Fluency in Bengali and English, including spoken communication and comprehension.
Prior interpretation experience preferred; community, medical, or social-services experience is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
Professional demeanor and dependability.
