Job Purpose
Business Data Migration expert for Order to Cash on LDC ERP program ensures data is delivered according to global/deployment/country requirements and timelines and responsible for data migration activities in a deployment (above-country) for Data objects in his/her scope. The data includes but is not limited to Customer master, Product Pricing, Contracts. Acts as the functional SPoC for data migration on the assigned objects for a given release.




Major Accountabilities
Perform or ensure data cleansing tasks are completed on time
Complete data collection for manual/construction objects on time
Work together with IT counterparts to prepare value mappings
Create and maintain master lists if applicable for assigned objects
Provide business insights and information to technical teams for extraction and conversion from the legacy system(s) for assigned data objects
Work together with IT team and country Business Data Owners to identify objects in scope for country
Ensure data readiness & verify quality throughout data journey for assigned data objects
Verify that data is fit for purpose (incl. alignment with internal/external stakeholders)
Approve upload files before and after load for all assigned data objects (including formal approval)
Perform manual (type-in) data loads into target clients where applicable for assigned objects
Perform dual maintenance
Execution and approval of data verification scripts
Act as SPoC for assigned objects as part of defect management process during Hypercare


Key Performance Indicators / Measures Of Success
Data Cleansing completion for relevant data objects on project(s) within the region based on given data migration schedule
Data Loads completion for relevant data objects on project(s) within the region based on given data migration schedule
All major issues related to data quality for relevant data objects resolved based on given project(s) schedule

The Business Data Migration Expert for Supply Chain on the LDC ERP Program is responsible for ensuring that data is delivered in accordance with global, deployment, and country-specific requirements and timelines. The role oversees data migration activities during deployment for data objects within the assigned scope. These data objects include Material Master, Inventory Data, Batch Master, Warehouse Data, and Quality Data. The individual acts as the functional Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for data migration activities related to assigned objects for a specific release.


Major Accountabilities
Perform and ensure the timely completion of data cleansing activities for assigned data objects.


Complete data collection activities for manual and construction-related objects within agreed timelines.


Collaborate with IT counterparts to prepare and validate value mappings.


Create and maintain master data lists for assigned objects where applicable.


Provide business insights and guidance to technical teams for the extraction and conversion of data from legacy systems.


Work closely with IT teams and Country Business Data Owners to identify and confirm data objects within the project scope.


Ensure data readiness and maintain data quality throughout the migration lifecycle for assigned data objects.


Verify that migrated data is fit for purpose and aligned with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.


Review and approve upload files before and after data loads, including formal sign-off procedures.


Perform manual data entry and loading activities into target systems where required.


Execute and maintain dual maintenance activities during transition phases.


Perform and approve data verification scripts to ensure migration accuracy and completeness.


Act as the Single Point of Contact for assigned data objects during Hypercare and support defect management activities.


Key Performance Indicators / Measures of Success
Successfully complete data cleansing activities for relevant data objects in alignment with the defined regional data migration schedule.


Ensure timely completion of data load activities for relevant data objects according to project and deployment timelines.


Resolve all major data quality issues related to assigned data objects within the agreed project schedule and quality standards.
